White Wheat Bread


White Wheat Bread Recipe 

I got this recipe from Pam.  It is fast, easy, uses all wheat and is really good.



Ingredients:

1/3 c. olive oil
1/3 c. honey
4 c. hot water
2 1/2 T. yeast
10 cups whole wheat flour (give or take a bit)
1 T. salt
1/2 c. plus 2 T. gluten

Mix oil, honey, water, yeast and 4 cups flour in Bosch (or whatever mixer you prefer).  Let it sit and sponge for 15 minutes.  Add salt and gluten and 5 1/2-6 cups remaining flour.  Knead for 10 minutes.  Rest for 10 minutes.  Divide into 3 parts and shape into loaves.  Place in 3 greased loaf pans and raise for 30 minutes.  Put in oven that has not been preheated.   Set oven temperature to 350 degrees and bake for 30 minutes.  Cool for 5 minutes and remove from pan.  I like to rub the tops with butter.
